Today I discovered my hidden mutant super power:
Finding expired products at the store. *Taa daa*
This has happened twice in the past month. Twice!
The first time was at my grocery store. I wanted to buy a box of tea, and every single box of the kind I wanted was a week or more (sometimes much more) past its "best by" date.
It happened again at the drugstore today. I was going to buy a combo pack of night and day time cold/flu relief medicine. And, sure enough, the date on the box of the day time medicine was for 10/20/05.
Spooky, ain't it?

Hey Hamster_grrl,
Don't worry about your expired cold medicine. As far as I've been told by competent and reliable chemists there is no danger involved, since the chemicals used are stable and not toxic. No reason to get an expired box though :(
Have you tried buying bulk tea at Wegmans? They have really good stuff, I highly recommend it.
