Holy Crap I'm a bad blogger

Whoa, sorry there.

I dropped off the face of the earth for a bit.

Mi madre came for a visit, which was nice. I hadn't seen her in a couple of years so it was good to reconnect. I have no patience with my mother, since I am the Worst Daughter Ever. Seriously. We get along alot better when we are not in the same state. Mothers and daughters. What can you do?

But I digress.

Things have been looking up in the world of hamster_grrl. The other party in the car accident has accepted liability, which is good. I have a shiny new rental car provided by the other insurance company, and my car is getting fixed. Turns out part of the damage fixed itself when they put it up on the struts or whatever so they won't have to replace the rear panel after all and they may even get my car back to me sooner than the 28th (thier original quote).

The iPod saga has also resolved itself, I think. The screen is definitely beyond repair, but I found a replacement on eBay that I can replace myself for a reasonably low price. The player has been a little spotty though, so I'm worried that LCD juice has leaked all over the inside of the player. Can it do that?

Also, I got a new cell phone. I am grudginly starting to accept it into my life. I loved my old phone so much, but being able to hear the phone ring is a perk.

Well that's all for now. I promise that I will be more diligent about posting, and talk about stuff that isn't this boring.

Tonight I'm off to ride some roller coasters and then to go see my favorite band!
