Me: Spring Break? Wow! What are you going to do?
Nate-dog: Whatever I want.
Well, well, well.
According to his mom, "whatever I want" is his new catchphrase. Ah, the joys of being an only child.
I believe there was a Spring Break at my university this year, the undergrads were all conspicuously absent and then came back a week later significantly tanner. (tanner? is that a word?)
My Spring Break activities were mainly saying "Spring Break! Woo!" when I walked into my office everyday before I started working. It was WILD!!! Office-mate Snex and I did let loose a little one day and cooked a roast in the office. It was "Crock-pot Thursday"!! I brought in a pork roast and various veggies that needed to be eaten before I moved, and she brought in some carrots and her slow cooker. Add some water and viola! Delicious Spring Break WOO!!!!

Adding the veggies (potatos, turnips, parsnips, and carrots, oh my!) as the meat floats.

We sliced that bad boy up, and I tell you, if there had been a bone, that meat would have been falling off it. Damn.
There is something about an office-cooked meal that can't be beat. I think next we'll try a rack of lamb, if we ever find the time to do a crock pot Thursday again.
