calming the nerves

I am about half an hour away from giving a talk about my work.

It's basically a summary of the stuff I have been doing and what I am going to tell my committee about next week when we meet to make sure everyone is on board with me graduating in the spring.

But today is a practice talk. This practice talk where the people hearing it have specifically said to be prepared for them to basically rip it apart. And then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I will have a Super Excellent Awesome talk for next week.

It's all for my benefit, I know, but I am still very, very nervous! Eek!
