So today I went in for my job interview and practice test.
The interview went well, they enjoyed my presentation. Sparkle suggested that I demonstrate how to make Vegemite toast, so I did that. Good times.
Then, I took a practice MCAT test, and totally bit it. I had prepared myself with some review of biology, and I am sure that I did OK there, but I was utterly unprepared for the organic chemistry questions. D'oh! Damn you Diels-Alder!!! Damn you!!!
All is not lost, though. They would like to put me in the classroom, so I am going to test for whatever they need and see where I excel.
One of my committee members asked me how I was doing the other day, and he said, "I just wanted to say, whatever you are on, it is clearly working." It was good to hear that my inner awareness of coming back from depression is also evident to the outside world. Especially the outside world that has direct influence over my future degree.
