After about 14 hours of driving (weather and construction made this leg longer than I thought), I am finally relaxing in Gallup NM. There was some awesome lightning today, and I even managed to catch some of it on video.
I like this one best, because the lightningbolt is all loopy, I couldn't help saying out loud how I hoped that it was caught on camera.
You have to wait about 20 seconds, but it is worth it.
Tomorrow is the last day of the cross-country trek! Las Vegas is only about 6 hours away, I am excited to get back to my hometown.
