I got to the grounds shortly after the gates opened and took some time to walk around and take many pictures.
I also discovered another perk of warm Las Vegas Octobers: Cute hippie and indie rock boys walking around and laying in the grass with no shirts on *gigglegiggle*
I saw a little bit of the Magic Numbers, Sleater Kinney, Ween, and Spoon.
After that I went to the main stadium to get a shot of the mountains I love at dusk.

After getting some pictures and listening to a little Trey Anastasio, it was time to head over to another stage and check out the Flaming Lips. I walked out of the stadium, around the building and through the vendor area, and in the distance I see the stage with lights beaming, music playing, and many gigantic, brightly colored balloons bouncing around the crowd.
THAT was the stage where the fun was, which is where I needed to be!

When I got there, the whole crowd sang a Karaoke of Bohemian Rhapsody (they had the words on the giant screen for us), it rocked!
I was happy to see that some of the balloons survived to come over to the Jack Johnson performance a little later.
good times.
I hope I can come back to Las Vegas and Vegoose next year!
