I need a partner in crime

Today I realized how much I need a close friend or a lover (or both) here in Australia.

I went to the beach today. I had a swim, read, and soaked up some sun (after liberally applying sunscreen, of course). Very refreshing, immensely relaxing, a perfect summer day. As usual, upon returning home, I found that I got a little too much sun here and there, but nothing that some aloe vera wouldn't clear up by tomorrow.

I also found that the back of my tankini rides up a little when I lie on my stomach reading.
How did I realize this?
Well, from the 1 inch wide perfectly straight stripe of bright red that runs across my back, just below my waist.

From behind, I look like I am wearing a red belt.

Now, I know you are all wondering: why does this make me think I need a companion?

Well, I just spent the better part of the last 15 minutes trying to take a picture of the burn line suitable for posting here. Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of your own back? Harder than you'd expect, I'll tell you that. With or without the flash, in the mirror or with the camera aimed blindly behind my back, none of the pictures turned out.

But, if I had a partner in crime who could take the photo for me, then this story would be complete with the perfect picture of my new red half-belt!

Because it really is a funny sight.

It *does* sound funny. But also PAINFUL!

however, if you had a partner in crime, you wouldn't have that keen red belt to begin with.

i'm sure a little, "did you put sunscreen there?" would have prevented it.

;-)

here's wishing you the partner you most deserve!
