Let me repeat that.
Australians LOVE wine.
And why not? There is much good wine to be had here, at very reasonable prices.
One of the first weekends we were here, my lab tech and I went on a wine bus tour of the Yarra Valley, one of the best wine producing regions in Australia. Such fun!
Lab Tech knew quite a bit about wine, and between her helpful tips and the spiels done by the wineries, I learned quite a bit about wine, especially how to taste it!
We ended the day at Domain Chandon, and I tried their sparkling Shiraz, a "uniquely Australian" product. It was quite tasty! I am definitely bringing some of this stuff back to the U.S.!
