I really wish I could be here right now.
I have officially decided that 2007 will be my year to become a citizen of Black Rock City. Sparkle has been going for years, and every year her tales from the desert inspire me.
Chances are, by next August I will be perilously close to graduating, if not already graduated *fingers crossed* and I will need a good 7-10 days on the playa to decompress from the years of grad school.
Now all I need to do is to find a camp from this part of the country, and to squirrel away some funds for ticket and supplies.

this year there was a HUGE metal snake with fire coming out of it's back and and egg that 'hatched' amid a fantastic fireworks display! so so cool!
