Title happy

I was having dinner tonight with a couple of friends, fellow grad student the future Dr. H, and Frogweiler. As the waiter refilled our beverages, he called the future Dr. H. "sir", and then walked away.

Future Dr. H: When I get my Ph.D., I will have to say, "excuse me, it's not 'sir', it's 'Doctor'"

Me: The thing I am excited about is when I get my Ph.D. I can go to TX and visit my friend that is a pediatrician and my other friend who has his Ph.D.in astrophysics and we can all have lunch and call each other doctor.

I was thinking, Dr. Pediatrician, that we could share an appetizer, perhaps some mini-egg rolls?

Frogweiler: Heh heh heh. You just had an imaginary conversation with other people in your head out loud, you know that, right?

Me: Yeah.

And then we all laughed at how weird I am.
