It has been a whirlwind of a week finishing edits on my dissertation, getting rid of as much stuff as possible (I like to think of it as clearing my light chakra by ridding myself of earthly attachments), and getting ready to move across the country.
I am driving the whole way, and after spending the day frantically cleaning and packing on only 3 hours sleep, I decided to postpone my departure until tomorrow.
And, at sparkle's suggestion, I signed up for twitter, so I can post updates from my travels. I am not sure how much internet access I will have over the coming days, but you can follow the link on the right if you want to follow me!
I am excited to get on the road tomorrow, although my mom's incessant calls with driving tips is starting to drive me crazy.
I will miss everyone in PA, I have been very, very lucky to have such wonderful friends who kept me company and helped me get rid of stuff by taking to their houses, helping me take it to donations, or mailing stuff for me next week.
I would never have been able to make it this far without you and your support. I love you guys and will definitely keep in touch.
I'm exhausted and everything hurts. Spending the day moving boxes back and forth has reminded me that I am getting old and busted.
