more giggles

I've seen three more comedy shows these past few days. I have been fighting a cold, and people have said that laughter is the best medicine.

Although dayquil is also quite effective.

Anyways, the shows:

The Renegades of Folk: These guys were folktastic! They were really, really wierd, in just the way I like it. A cool mix of music and just strange, strange antics.

Greg Fleet: His show was called 'word up' and it was full of amusing commentary about language and how its use has changed throughout history as well as throughout one's lifetime. He also strayed into the absurd and had me laughing a bunch.

Ross Noble: This show has been consistently selling out during the festival and I can see why. I saw this guy on Rove Live last week and promptly got a ticket to his show. He is just. so. random. His whole show was just going off on tangent after tangent. I was laughing so hard I was crying most of the night, and I am sure that my abs will be sore tomorrow. I am sure every one of his shows is different. I hope he comes to the U.S. I would definitely see him again, and get tickets for the front row!

good times
