The inspiration for the party, of course, was the fantabulous podcast TikiBarTV. We had torches, mugs, lei's tiki music, and quite alot of alcohol. Sadly, neither sanestperson nor I are made of money so we were not equipped to make all of the cocktail recipies from the podcast, but we selected 3 tasty temptations:

All amazing drinks which led to a couple of memorable conversations:
Me: You're an attractive man, and I'm sure you're great in bed, and I know I had that crush on you years ago, but I just don't feel that way about you anymore. I don't really want to see your penis.
TGP: I know, that was a long time ago. And I want you to know, you're more than just a pair of nipples to me.
Me: Aw, thanks man.

Oldflame: That would be your very dry wit.
Me: Oh. that makes me feel sexy.
Oldflame: *laughing* Don't you know that the brain is the sexiest organ?
Me: *starting to laugh* You couldn't even say that with a straight face.
Oldflame: *more laughing*

Oldflame hung around a bit after the party for some good old-fashioned makin' out, so I guess having spectacular set of dry wit ain't so bad in the end.
